Live streaming isn’t quite the new frontier that it used to be.
But with the help of a $5.99 service called LiveStream, it’s now possible to stream live video from almost any device.
If you live in the city, for example, you can live stream the Boston Marathon from the home screen of your iPad or iPhone.
For $10, you also get access to the LiveStream Live Chat feature.
You can ask for help from your friends, share videos, and watch your livestream from your phone.
The company also includes a few more useful features, including a timer, a “dock,” and a “live map” that lets you track the location of people who are streaming live from within the app.
But for now, LiveStream isn’t a perfect live streaming app.
You have to buy a license, and you’ll have to manually download and install apps on your devices.
And you have to remember to save your livestreams on your phone when you’re away.
So while you can use LiveStream on your Android, Mac, or PC, we’ll leave it up to you to make your own live streaming experience.
You’ll need a device with a camera, a smartphone, and a Wi-Fi connection.
